I play for Prestwich BC in the Prestwich league (Wed/Fri) and
the J.W.Lees Sunday league.
I was the captain of the Premier Cup team in 2002, and if I hadn't played like
a complete plonker in the semi-final perhaps we would have had a chance.
In my defence, I did win my other two games in the Premier Cup in 2002, both away. In the first round I beat Mike Holden (Royton CC) 21-18, in the quarter finals I beat Peter Lord (Springhead Libs) 21-19, before losing to Tommy King (Grapes Hotel) 6-21 in the semi-final.
