Alan plays for Prestwich BC on Sunday Mornings and Tuesdays,
on Wednesdays he plays for local rivals Prestwich Cons. He has devoted more
time to the game in 2002 and has come on strong.
Alan had some very tough games in the Premier Cup in 2002, only winning one
but always giving a good performance. In the first round he beat J. White (Royton
CC) 21-13 away, in the quarter finals he lost to W. Flanaghan (Springhead Libs)
11-21, and he lost to D. Walker (Grapes Hotel) 15-21 in the semi-final.
