"All But!" Crown Green Bowling League Data System

Click on the correct link below to download either the registered version, or the evaluation version, of the "All But!" Data System.
In both cases, it is a self-extracting file which, when run, installs itself to the specified directory.

All registered users are entitled to free updates. All users for whom I have an e-mail address will be informed of any major updates when they are ready. If you haven't already done so, just download the self-extracting file below and run it to install the latest version. A personal password and software key should have already been provided to all registered users. If you haven't received your's, then please let me know.

Any league registered with the British Crown Green Bowling Association is allowed to use "All But!" for a full season for FREE,with no obligation. If you are the secretary of a league, then just e-mail me with your league name and which county you affiliate to, and I will e-mail you back with your personalised password and software key that you need to use this evaluation version.

Installation Instructions
  1. Click on the correct link above to download the ALLBUTxx.EXE or ALLBUTxxEVAL.EXE self-extracting file (where xx is the version number)..
  2. Run the self-extracting file after you've downloaded it, and set the name of the folder you want to extract the program and support files to (the default is "c:\allbut").
  3. Click the UNZIP button and input your password to install the files.
  4. Finally, copy your personalised registration key (allbut.key) into the same directory (e.g. "c:\allbut").

The program is now ready to run. You can read the included README.TXT for the latest information and a summary of any new features in this version.

All But's baby brother is also available to allow any bowling club to enter all their teams' fixtures and results, produce team averages, generate web-pages and reports etc.
Download "All View!"
A freeware viewer program is available to allow any bowler to look at and printout any results or averages etc. from a database created by "All But!".

 

Registration Information.

The "ALL BUT!" system is not shareware. I will provide a software key to allow any league free, personalised use of the software for evaluation for one season. Any league deciding to use this software will then need to register their league with me and pay the nominal one-off registration fee of £50.
After registration you will receive a personalised life-time version of the software. You will also receive notification of all major software updates whenever they are released. In addition, I will attempt to help with any problems you may have with the data system, and any requests for additional features will be taken into consideration for the next release.
If requested, I will also publish supplied results on this web-site (www.allbut.co.uk) for any registered league or provide you with a basic web-site framework for publishing your own results.

Any use of the software, other than for a registered league or for initial evaluation, it not allowed. If you wish to contact me via post or telephone, you can find my address and telephone number in the manual (AllBut.doc).
