Detailed Features |
| The "All But!" Bowling League Data System is a PC based data system (for Windows 9x, ME, XP or Vista), designed to aid the day to day running of any Crown Green Bowling League. The system can tailored to your individual needs, by setting the control parameters for your league requirements. Once configured correctly, the system will cope with multiple seasons, performing many of the required jobs in running a league.
This version of the software, has the following functions:-
- Supports leagues of up to 16 divisions, with up to 16 teams in each division.
- Allows for up to 40 registered players per team, or 100 registered players per club (depending on how the league operates).
- Auto-generate fixtures for divisions with between 5 and 16 teams, taking into account multiple users of the same green etc. These fixtures can be manually changed, with the computer checking for invalid selections and showing any games which haven't been allocated.
- Allows simple entry of all match results, automatically calculating the match aggregate and result, taking into account any handicaps applied. The players can be listed either alphabetically or in seeded order (for leagues who must ensure the players are ordered such).
- Show the current league tables, or team averages at any time. These tables can be copied to the clipboard and pasted directly into any editor or word processor.
- It can produce a printout of the latest results and fixtures. It can also produce HTML files for direct up-loading to a web-site.
This program has been used to generate all the league information on this site. I offer this program to any bowling league that thinks it may be useful. The small registration fee I charge is obviously not a 'get rich quick' scheme, but is simply to cover the costs of running this site and updating the programs. | |
